Count me in among your readers. I just found your blog and I enjoy your writing style.

I did like the Star Wars movies though although I wouldn’t consider myself a die hard fan. I draw the line at Star Wars trivia and assorted paraphernalia. That goes double for a $100 toy. If people start moving things with their minds however I may just have to buy.

That Joe the Plumber: War Correspondent thing you mentioned on my blog… oh yeah, I saw that, and it reminded me of Lewis Black’s old routine when he’s talking about how the headlines are out of cartoons… and he says “Arnold Schwarzenegger is the governor of California, and I have not done acid.” I think that quote applies here. This Joe thing lines right up with the porn industry asking for a government bailout.

That’s a whole dimension I hadn’t even considered. I mean, I pictured myself using the Force and that would be awesome. But, Star Wars tattoo guy using the Force? Who knows what kind of havoc he’d wreak. (I almost wrote “reek” by accident. Talk about a Freudian slip.)

By the way, do you ever feel like I write this blog just for you, my one faithful commenter? ; )

I’m such a nerd, I thought your title was about resumés, and seeing that you mentioned work only encouraged that. Good for you on starting on your resolutions. So far I… have not. In the least. Except for applying to college but that only took like three minutes (oh the joy of automated applications in Ontario.) Sounds like you have a handle on things, balance on the wire, and all that. Just don’t look down.

Just letting you know, I changed the name of my blog. And it’s entirely possible that I’ll change it back since I just found out that I can’t change my URL and I do not want to create a new blog after months of accumulating posts and hits… By the way, I’m curious about the number of hits you’ve gotten. I have no idea if mine are normal.

Delete this when you get it, this is just because I can’t email you or anything. No idea if there’s a way to do that through WordPress. There should be…

Wow. Very, very profound post, and *exquisitely* written.

Barack Obama is half black, half white, right? In reality, it should be a win for both blacks and whites — sort of a middle ground for the race issue.

I find it strange that it’s turned into a “black” thing.

Anyway, I loved your post. Thoughts become things — choose the good ones. : )
